I am leaving the wonderful city of Vancouver behind to embark on a travel adventure. On January 2nd I am taking my backpack and flying across the world to Bangkok, Thailand. I will be traveling Thailand for the month of January and on February 1st I will leave the "Land of Smiles" to Delhi, India. I will be joined in Thailand and India by my wonderful friend Angela, and once in India our friend Alex will be meeting us there. We will travel India for most of February, and once Angela and Alex leave back to Canada I will take off on my own to take part in an internship with an Indian NGO (non-governmental organization) located in the Punjab region for a couple of months.
EduCare News Letter for January 2011
In my last couple of days in Vancouver I am excited to leave but also a bit sad as I will miss all of my family and friends here. I have no return date as of yet but am open to the possibilities and am willing to go "wherever the road takes me.."
In Thailand we are planning to stay in Bangkok for a few days, and then head north to Ayyutthaya, followed by Chiang Mai, and than down south where we will get crazy at the legendary Full Moon Party located on Koh Phangan. We hope to learn how to dive on Koh Tao and than head westwards to check out Phuket, Railay, Krabi, and Koh Phi Phi.
