Hello everyone, am currently waiting to board my flight to Bangkok (via Taipei). Can't believe I am leaving Vancouver again... its like a permanent deja-vu! (Done this already 3 times before). Was difficult to say bye to dear friends and most of all my dear family whom I love so much. They have always been so supportive of my adventures.
Am not looking forward to the 20 hours of travel I have ahead of me (13.5 hours to Taipei...3 hour layover and 3.45 hours to Bangkok). Lets hope I am able to pass out and sleep and that that food is good. :-)
Bangkok is around 30 degrees right now and oh boy am I ever ready!
Will update once I arrive
xo

at the risk of sounding corny, this will be a life changing experience. just promise not to come back as a hippy. India can do that to people....
ReplyDeleteYes, please don't come back a stinky hippie.
ReplyDeleteAlso - Dad and I say have tons-o-fun! Mum and Dad have been tracking your flight... making sure you have not crashed. Dad says he misses you already. He is making me chicken wings currently - yay!
Tracked your flight today. I can see you journeying farther and farther away til you arrived on the other side of the world. Have a safe and wonderful journey. Miss you lots. Not same without you around. Be safe. Love, Daddy
ReplyDeletePeace and love to you all!! I am going to 'find myself' in an Ashram in India okay and none of you can stop me from doing it. Going to grow some dreads and maybe get a tattoo of something...'Buddha?' (haha Kayleigh)
ReplyDeleteLove you all!
-The not hippy....-yet.

ReplyDeleteSquat toilets, bamboo rafts and elephant rides. What an experience filled trek. Great and fascinating selection of pictures which along with your interesting narrative provides a glimpse into what you guys are experiencing. Keep on treking.
Love,
Daddy
